WHAT IS THE PARCEL BOX?
These are boxes intended for collecting and returning parcels. They feature a robust steel design and are equipped with a display, a QR code reader, and a payment terminal. The number and size of the boxes, as well as the design, can be customised to suit your requirements. Customers need no application to use the boxes.

What are the boxes made of?
The boxes are strong and robust and made of cold-rolled steel sheets 1.2-2 mm thick. Their durability is promoted by corrosion-resistant powder coating.
How big can the boxes in the ParcelBox be?
The depth of each unit is 45.5 cm. The internal height of the boxes can be:
9,6 cm – type S,
21,2 cm – type M,
32 cm – type L.
What are the specifications of the classic ParcelBox network connection?
In order to connect the classic ParcelBox, you need an RJ 45 Ethernet socket with an IP connection (i.e. not via a proxy server). A 4G or 3G FSM modem with an RJ45 socket is a good solution. The modem can be placed in the engineering section of the box, with the antenna terminated on the outside.
How heavy can the parcels in the ParcelBox be?
This depends on the type of ParcelBox and the number of boxes. The total weight of parcels is approximately:
285 kg for 30 boxes;
400 kg for 40 boxes;
460 kg for 50 boxes.
What is the procedure for reading and unloading parcels?
The reading of parcels to be delivered and the unloading of unclaimed parcels is handled by the software integrated into the ParcelBox. Loading and unloading is performed by scanning barcodes (the reader forms a part of the system).
What is the basic ParcelBox configuration?
The simplest box includes a 15” touchscreen, a QR code reader, automatic lighting, a roof for protection against weather elements, emergency door opening, and an open door sensor.
Are there any optional accessories?
There is a wide range of accessories, such as a router, a payment terminal, a security camera, or a larger 19” touchscreen.
What are the installation requirements?
In order to install the ParcelBox, you need:
– The right surface – flat, smooth, dry, and exceeding the outline of the ParcelBox by at least 20 cm. The required load capacity of the surface is 500 kg/m².
– Clearance – at least 240 cm above the surface.
– Power supply – 230 V/16 A from the back.
– Any required permits – to allow the box to be installed at the site.
What does the classic ParcelBox include?
Each ParcelBox includes a control panel with a screen and a barcode reader. An application that can be visually customised to match your brand runs inside the system. This type of ParcelBox requires a power supply, a modem, and an internet connection.
What does the solar ParcelBox include?
This concept is simpler and only includes minimum electronics. It includes a simple programmable logic controller capable of opening the boxes. It enables communication with the server, as well as with a mobile device via Bluetooth. This solution includes a numeric keypad for entering the PIN for collecting a parcel.
